Hi! We are Danielle and John. We are a happily married couple from New York, hoping to build a family through adoption. John is an Electrical Engineer and Danielle teaches first grade. We are fortunate to both make good salaries and have secure jobs, enabling us to live comfortably. We realize that choosing adoption for your child and finding the right parents are probably the two biggest decisions you will ever make. We understand that your decision is being made out of love and hope, and that deserves our utmost respect. In order to help you with your decision, we would like to give you a sense of ourselves, our families and what we hope your child’s life will be like with us. We know that it may be difficult to get an idea of who people are through their websites and profiles. However, we want you to know that we are being honest in everything we are writing, and we hope that you will come to believe that we are the right parents for your child.We have been married for almost three years. However, we have been inseparable for over six. We met through John’s sister who proclaimed that we were meant for each other! Michelle would constantly speak about all the things we had in common to one another, until we finally agreed to go out together (with Michelle chaperoning of course). Our first date included the movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and a trip to Build A Bear. We immediately connected, and became best friends from that day on!
